Crazy?Connor:  Holy shit. A talking muffin. A while ago it was even dancing. The doctors tell me that I’m delusional, but I know I’m not. I can see him, and he told me yesterday that the answer to the universe is forty-two. The giant chocolate bar at the end of my bed started to glitter a few minutes ago. Around me are four (mostly) solid walls, some sort of ugly light green. I don’t feel crazy, but that’s what Hayley calls me. She’s five, but mentally, sometimes I think she’s older than me.  My nurse, Rachel, comes in to tell me that it’s time for lunch. I smile at her, because mostly these days that Crazy?

The ObituaryThese bright strobe lights flicker with their heartbeats  Rushing through the veins of a dying city  Life no longer fills the bodies the carry  And the whole rainbow is fading to grey

Too-broad shoulders  Too-full chest  Rolls below her ribcage  Where they shouldn’t be  Stretch marks show another set of imperfections

i love you because you aren't afraid to simply be
i love you because you are my rainbow
i love you because you chose me
i love you because you don't judge me
i love you because my heart is attached to yours

sometimes the most meaningful things we find are by chance.
as simple as a teacher going to a website.
as complicated as finding the same conclusion unconciously.

i love myself because i am colorful
i love myself because i am unique
i love myself because i am loved
i love myself because my heart beats in rhythm with my soul
i love myself because of you.

i think anyone who may be reading this journal should do the same as i did, five reasons you love someone, five for yourself.
i find it powerful and it helps me find peace.
i hope it will do the same for you.

Thanks for the comment. I still get bummed from time to time about not going, but that was many years ago, and now I am at a school I enjoy doing what I love, so things ended up working out. It's that last semester of High School that really makes you reflect upon the decisions you made, and the enviornment you're a product of. Enjoy the facilities to their highest extent, because DSA is a lot nicer than even most colleges.

i can't even put into words how glad i am to be at dsa.
i wasn't told i could attend until i had started a different school two weeks earlier. i replaced someone that never came back, and i'm thankful to that person for giving me this amazing opportunity. (:
